the 40 Ft?
Rumour has it Daddy dipped into the 40 ft in Sandycove on Christmas day! I don't believe it. He said he has video to prove it but I don't see any pictures. A myth!
Christmas 2008
Sarah and Ryker came to Dublin for Christmas, with Sarah's Mum AVO and sister Tara. We had an early surprise on Sunday 21 when Santa came to Dublin to all the best behaved kids' houses and guess where he popped in? No. 9. He left me a bike, a bigger one than the one i got 2 years ago and Ryker got a load of cars, trucks, a car transporter and even a Sylvanian families Morris Minor, green, just like Granda Rush had for his first car when daddy was little. His was a van though and this one is a convertible.
We opened stockings the night before and I got loads of things, including Mama Mia. I think my favourite of all was the Baby doll from Uncle Anthony. Maybe I'll get more Baby Doll things, a crib, a buggy, pram, etc., rather than Barbie stuff, although I have a new Barbie nightshirt I just love .
BTW: Do you see the plate of cookie crumbs and a half eaten carrot? Santa also left a white glove. Next year I will stay up all night a catch a glimpse and maybe give him his glove back. Daddy tells me he heard his jingle bells during the night and ran down to see if he was there but he just saw a red coat go out the back door just as he got to the living room.
We got a great big tree and decorated it with all sorts of things. Ryker got a fire truck and guess who was driving? Santa!! I got a hello Kitty.
I'm not sure about this AVO one. She tells me she's a teacher but guess what? She calls me Susan! Did you ever? And she doesn't know circles from squares, cubes, hearts, or anything.

December 2008
Christmas is coming the Goose is getting fat . . .
We started the Christmas spirit early this year and went to see Santa at Dundrum (and later Powerscourt). Daddy took me ice skating for the first time at the RDS, where it was great fun as there is a small ice rink there for kids to learn. We went to the Smithfield one the next time but it was too rough, so we will stick to the RDS.
On Sunday we went to the Gaiety theatre where Cinderella was playing but it was sold out and I think I just got my very first Christmas present because as me and Daddy were leaving and the show was about to begin a lovely kind man (Carl) gave us 2 tickets. For Free!! It was a great show, with lots of singing, Abba songs again!!. Even Daddy joined in the singing and dancing.
